FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF MOUNT KISCO, NOISE FROM AIRCRAFT PASSING OVERHEAD IS THE PRIMARY CONCERN

Further Consideration of Privatization?

MY PERSONAL OPINION IS THAT AIRPORTS MUST NOT BE PRIVATIZED.

Track Record / Experience with Airport Issues?

I HAVE CALLED THE NOISE TELEPHONE LINE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHEN AIRCRAFT PASSED LOW OVER THE PARTS OF MOUNT KISCO. I HVE SUGGESTED TO MY COUNTY LEGISLATOR THAT MOUNT KISCO HAVE REPRESENTATION ON THE APPROPRIATE BOARD. THIS WAS TURNED DOWN.

I WILL SUPPORT THE COALITION.

What Else that is Relevant to the Airport?

Airport Impacts?

On the positive side, Mt. Kisco residents benefit by having the convenience of the Airport nearby. On the negative side, there is the noise caused by the occasional low flying plane.

Most Important Airport Issues?

I believe that safety and security are always the highest priority, followed by all forms of pollution.

As I am not extremely familiar with the bids and leases described, I cannot respond at this time.

Track Record / Experience with Airport Issues?

I do not have any hands-on experience with this issue and have not attended any meetings or forums.

What Would You Do in Your Position?

I would take advantage of the opportunity to become better versed on certain issues.

What Else that is Relevant to the Airport?

Just that the manner by which these issues affect the residents of Mount Kisco would be my top priority.
